I used the existing 4 conductor cable that was in place for my old Compool Indoor control panel. This is NOT correct and you ONLY need this protocol adapter. Pentair will advise you need to purchase this along the wireless adapter so as to utilize the PC software or the iPhone app. The Intellitouch Protocol Adapter is a very expensive item for what you get but it does exactly as advertised and seller was by far the cheapest found anywhere on the Web. Necessary item for remote connectivity but expensive.
